Student Solo Rectial

Students will spend their fall lessons learning a piece and preparing it for performance in front of an audience.  The music choice will be a piece of their liking that will challenge them and help prepare them for their next Nyssma level. 

Students will rehearse and perform with pianist Barbara Lee.  The focus of the rehearsal will be on communicating and collaborating with Barbara, and on helping and advising the performances of fellow students.  The subject of stage presence and deportment will also be covered.

Important: Be aware that there is no coming late to or leaving early from the rehearsal or the recital.  Although students will be performing individually, the learning process for this event is very group oriented.  If a student is unable to commit to the full time frames mentioned above for the rehearsal and the recital, then they should not sign up.
